Job Description:Aurora Dairies are currently seeking multiple Dairy Cattle Farmers - Farm Hands across South-East South Australia, Australia. The farms are located in the Mount Gambier Region.

The successful candidates will have a passion for the dairy industry and have experience in assisting the

management team in managing a dairy operation. The successful candidates will have demonstrated

skills and experience in the following areas:

• Complete droving - moving cows to shed prior to milking as needed
• Complete milkings in the dairy shed - complete prestart, milking and clean-up
• Effectively work as part of a team, ensuring pace is aligned
• Identify and report equipment not operating as it should and complete general/minor maintenance as required and according to safe operating procedure
• Complete data entry/recording of incidents, milking, machinery and animal health
• Comply with all safe operating procedures and support the safety culture on farm
• Tractor work
• Animal feeding, calf feeding, paddock setup and other general farm tasks.

Qualifications:The desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:

• Minimum of 1 year, but preferably 2 years of dairy industry experience
• Certificate in Agriculture an advantage
• Committed to ensuring a safe workplace
• Reliable and punctual
• Good work ethic and positive attitude
• Team player.
