Metso is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Senior Manager – Project Pumps to lead our Pumps Project Sales function. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive sustainable business growth across project markets by developing and executing robust commercial and technical strategies. You will work closely with regional teams, key stakeholders, and cross‑functional groups to elevate our market presence and deliver best‑in-class solutions to customers.
What you'll do:
Develop and implement commercial and technical strategies to grow market share across end‑users and EPC(m) customers.
Own regional business performance (Order Received and Net Sales) and ensure alignment with financial and operational targets.
Lead marketing initiatives to strengthen regional visibility and promote the Pumps Business Line portfolio.
Enable regions through strategic guidance, performance monitoring, and escalation support.
Collaborate closely with the Minerals Sales team to ensure Pumps BL offerings are included in capex projects.
Support complex sales opportunities by shaping value propositions and guiding technical positioning.
Equip regional teams with product insights to enhance customer engagement and value creation.
Monitor regional project funnel quality to improve opportunity tracking and forecasting.
Promote alignment across regions to ensure consistent customer offerings and delivery standards.
Ensure seamless collaboration across sales, proposals, engineering, operations, supply chain, and services.
Assist other Market Areas, Business Lines, or internal teams by developing technically aligned proposals for integrated solutions.
Work with Product Management to share frontline insights that support product development and delivery improvements.
Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and agility in customer solution delivery.
Coach and mentor regional sales teams while sharing best practices.
Contribute to organisational knowledge management initiatives.
