Lead our multi-faceted dairy manufacturing facility based in Tatura, play a pivotal role in the continued evolution in this rewarding role

The Role

Our Tatura site is an icon in the region, well known around the world for its quality dairy products. As well as being the country’s largest producer of cream cheese, it also produces infant formula, nutritional lactoferrin, various milk powders, plus our famous single serve butter.

The site employs around 300 people and with such a variety of products and production areas. This opportunity offers a unique and rewarding challenge for an experienced operational professional to sink their teeth into.

You will play a pivotal role by delivering improved efficiencies and continued engagement with the workforce to further develop the site culture, providing opportunities for development of our people. The role ensures the site meets customer, farmer, regulatory, and commercial expectations every day. We are looking for a true leader who is passionate about manufacturing and wants the site and its people to be their best.

Responsibilities

  • Manage resources to achieve safety, quality, environment, production cost and customer service metrics
  • Pursue the creation of a working environment culture that realises improved productivity and job satisfaction
  • Facilitate the implementation, identification, and achievement of a value creation culture on site
  • Proactively develop and enhance the site safety culture to ensure best practice is maintained
  • Maintain site assets and seek optimisation opportunities to improve plant performance

About you

  • Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager or similar position in FMCG or Dairy industry
  • Sound leadership capability being able to create buy in across various levels of stakeholders and team members
  • Strategic business thinking capability and commercial acumen
  • Sound project & change management skills being able to facilitate and lead significant change
  • A skilled leader with a strong history centred around delivering results and empowering people to be the best they can be
