A great career opportunity for an enthusiastic worker to join Huon’s Marine Operations as part of the Bath Crew! Perfect for those who love working on the water.

The role

Reporting to the Bath Lead, you will contribute to the efficient operations of the Well Boat including:

  • The day-to-day husbandry of salmon and bathing operations.
  • Harvest and Smolt transfer operations.
  • General pen maintenance.
  • Assisting with work within Central Support across our zones as required.

Located near Dover, you will be working full-time on a 7 on 7 off roster. This position comes with the opportunity to complete your Cert III in Aquaculture through which you will gain your Coxswains ticket.

About you

  • You love the water and ideally have experience within aquaculture.
  • You have effective time management and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • You have experience working safely in a dynamic environment, identifying risks, and taking appropriate action.
  • You are an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong relationships within a team.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and a proactive focus on continually looking to improve processes
