Cook / Café Allrounder – Full-Time Role in Dubbo

Cook / Café Allrounder – Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook meals to café standards
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in food quality
- Assist with menu planning and costings
- Maintain stock levels and manage food ordering
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
Customer Service & Front-of-House
- Take customer orders and provide friendly service
- Make barista-quality coffee and beverages
- Assist with plating and food presentation
- Handle customer queries and dietary requests
- Cash Handling & POS
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Process cash and card transactions accurately
- Reconcile the till at the end of the shift
Kitchen & Café Operations
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and café area
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Follow food safety guidelines (e.g., temperature checks, allergen awareness)
- Assist with stock rotation and minimising waste
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A relevant certificate in commercial cookery or a related field, along with two years of experience, is preferred.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and enjoys working in a busy team environment. This is a fulltime position. Average 38 hours per week
Salary is range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation commensurate with experience.

- Australia (Preferred)

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Previous experience in agricultural work preferred
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license (essential)
