Are you an experienced ADAS or PATTA-qualified diver seeking a rewarding leadership role? Join us at our stunning Hideaway Bay site TAS as a Dive Supervisor.

The role

As a Dive Supervisor, you will ensure high safety standards and compliance with legislative requirements and Huon’s policies, guiding the team to maintain best practices in all dive operations. You will:

  • Lead and mentor dive crew, assisting with the induction and training of new team members.
  • Champion safety by identifying hazards and oversee dive operations to ensure they are conducted in compliance with Huon SOPs.
  • Conduct pre and post-dive briefings, communicating any restrictions or safety measures.
  • Perform various dive-related tasks, including net repairs, general maintenance, infrastructure inspections, and retrieval of mortalities.

Located at our Hideaway Bay site in Tasmania, this opportunity operates on a full-time basis with a 7 day on, 7 days off roster.

  • You can undertake the physically demanding requirements of this role in a safe manner.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and a proactive focus on continually looking to improve processes.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III in aquaculture (Diving)
  • ADAS or PATTA Dive Supervisor qualification
  • A current Dive medical or ability to obtain.
  • Current First Aid and Oxygen Resuscitation Certificate.
  • A current and valid Driver’s licence.
