The Role
About us
We are a family owned and operated farm looking for an experienced and competent farm manager/ farm hand, prepared for manual work and who is confident handling livestock and operating farm machinery.
We are looking for the ideal person to fill this role as soon as possible.
About the role
Enjoy autonomy working with an award-winning farm.
This role has flexible hours, starting as a Monday - Thursday role which may increase and may have overtime available in the warmer, growing months.
Your assistance will also be required on a few pre-determined weekends throughout the year.
Responsibilities
Our farm is also our home, so we are looking for someone trustworthy and that treats our place, animals, machines, equipment and tools with care and respect.
Day to day duties will include but not be limited to:
- Managing all aspects of farm operations
- Observing and feeding livestock
- Keeping the farm clean and tidy
Ongoing duties will include:
- slashing the paddocks in warmer months
- seeding and fertilising paddocks
- cleaning, servicing or scheduling service of farm vehicles and equipment
- farm maintenance - from mowing to fence repairs & clearing fallen branches etc
- Overseeing deliveries and contractors
About you
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of if innovative and regenerative agriculture practices and technologies.
Be a competent tractor operator and have experience using and understanding it’s implements as well as power tools, chainsaws, etc.
Land management and fencing skills a bonus but not essential.
Our primary focus is to fill this position with a like-minded, trustworthy, hard worker with good initiative and willingness to learn, improve and grow within the role.

Award
Pay is negotiable and based on experience.
Use of vehicle when required.
Short term accommodation available.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.29 – $36.56 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

Experience:
- Farming: 3 years (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- White Card (Preferred)
- Full Driver Licence (Required)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (Preferred)

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Previous experience in agricultural work preferred
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license (essential)
