Farm Attendant – Marine Operations – Full time – Strahan

Looking for a sea change? We are seeking a motivated Farm Attendant to join our passionate Marine Operations Team. Supporting the performance and wellbeing of our Salmon at our stunning Macquarie Harbour Site.

What you’ll be doing

  • Use large plant and equipment on fish farm infrastructure.
  • Use high pressure equipment and various tools on fish farm infrastructure.
  • Assist the plastic welders with HDPE Butt, electrofusion and extrusion welding.
  • Assist with general marine projects when required.
  • Embrace safety practices and contribute to a positive, productive crew culture.

What you’ll bring

  • Cert III in welding is desirable.
  • Working at heights training is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Well-developed communication skills and ability to build professional relationships.
  • A current Australian Drivers licence.
  • Ability to travel to site when required.
  • A keen eye for detail and a drive to keep improving system and process
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment health assessment.
