Huon has a fantastic opportunity for a Farm Attendant to join our Works Crew team at Hideaway Bay! The perfect position for those looking for a challenge in aquaculture.

The role

As part of the Works Crew, your primary purpose is to install and maintain all necessary fish pen related infrastructure. You will:

  • Assist with net, pen and mooring set-up, maintenance, and equipment installation.
  • Assist with fish transfers, feed trials, feeding fish and fish health checks.
  • Monitor and report all predator activity.

Located near Dover, you will be working full-time on a 7 on 7 off roster. This position comes with the opportunity to complete your Cert III in Aquaculture through which you will gain your Coxswains ticket.

  • Bonus points for experience on the water and relevant qualifications and tickets.
