Australia’s largest horse riding and wilderness adventure centre.

GVWA is a multi-award winning, adventure tourism business specialising in horse riding, kayaking, quad biking, abseiling, laser
skirmish and corporate team building activities. We also offer camping and cabin accommodation, a variety of events in our Valley
Event Centre and horse agistment services on our 3000 acre wilderness property. We have been in business for more than 50 years
and employ a team of 40 full time staff and approximately 80 part time and casual staff.

Purpose of the role
The purpose of the role is to carry out a wide range of general farm work, and project related tasks to maintain and improve our
property pastures through weed control, pasture management, seeding and fertilising. On occasion this will require the operation
of our farm machinery and equipment such as tractors.

What we are looking for
All applicants need to be over 18 years of age, non-smoking, physically fit, self-motivated, and possess the desirable skills,
experience, and qualifications relevant to the position we have on offer. Farming and/or weed controlling experience is preferred as
is an understanding of chemical handling procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Ideal candidates will enjoy working outdoors in a rural type setting, and not afraid to chip in and get your hands dirty doing a range
of behind-the-scenes tasks associated with maintaining and operating a large rural property. Applicants will be assessed using the
list of key result areas in the job description.

Remuneration
The standard hours of employment are from 7am to 5pm Mon – Fri, with 30 minutes for lunch and 15 minutes for morning tea.

This position is offered at an hourly rate of $35 per hour. Based on actual hours worked this equates to an approximate salary of
$82,863 per annum or $92,392.25 per annum including superannuation. All rates are before tax. This is a full time, permanent
position with paid holiday leave and personal leave etc. Your ordinary hourly rate incorporates and offsets all entitlements including
overtime, penalties (including Sunday and Public Holiday penalties), allowances, and annual leave loading as contained within the
Award.
