The Role

We operate throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia with our Head Office based in Pendle Hill. At Baiada Poultry our primary objective is to provide our customers with the highest quality products and excellent service.

We are looking for a committed and skilled Farm Operations Manager to join our team at Hopeland Road, Hopeland, WA.

Responsible for:

  • Staff rostering and training
  • Meeting production targets
  • Implementing continuous improvement programs
  • Monitoring bird health and identifying and addressing issues promptly
  • Compliance to all relevant company and third-party welfare and biosecurity programs
  • Compliance to all safety and environmental regulations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges as they arise

Required Skills and Experiences

  • Experience in broiler farm management, preferably in large scale broiler operations
  • Excellent knowledge of animal husbandry and welfare
  • Excellent knowledge and implementation of biosecurity programs
  • Good organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills
  • Good understanding of budgets and cost management
  • Good mechanical repair skills
  • Good knowledge of WHS and EMS systems

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license (essential)
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
