Farmhand – Free Range Egg Farm (Cooranbong NSW)

Join our team at Yahro Farm, a free range egg farm in Cooranbong.

We’re looking for reliable, hard-working people to help care for our hens and process eggs. The work is physical, repetitive, and hands-on—perfect for someone who enjoys staying active and working around animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing eggs using an automated packing machine
• Walking sheds to collect eggs and check for any issues
• Monitoring chicken health and welfare
• Keeping the packing area clean and organised
• Bending, lifting, and handling birds (up to 7kg)

To be considered, you must:

• Not own poultry, birds or pigs (due to biosecurity restrictions)
• Have a current driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Be physically fit and capable of manual work
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Be reliable and punctual

Pay: $29.33 per hour (Adult Casual, Poultry Award)
