Job Description

Your opportunity to join our team.

In this role, you will provide administrative and clerical support to our Farming team in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Daily Tasks Include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all face-to-face, telephone, and email queries
  • Scanning and filing records and general documentation
  • Managing incoming/outgoing purchase orders through BPCS
  • Ensuring all OHS site requirements are kept up to date
  • Supporting internal OHS systems and processes to ensure compliance
  • General office housekeeping
  • Vaccine reconciliation
  • Enviro Organics and Aviagen bird placements
  • Farm settlements and monthly payments
  • Sending out reports and updating financials
  • Purchase order entry and receipting
  • Invoice processing
  • Organising internal and external team meetings
  • Handling email queries and maintaining contact lists

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive, friendly attitude with a great phone manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to support multiple stakeholders while working independently
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Previous experience in agricultural work preferred
  • Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license (essential)
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
