About the role

We are currently seeking experienced Mechanics and Service Persons to join our fast paced and dynamic team in the Bowen Basin and Coalfields region with the role of servicing and maintaining our onsite ancillary equipment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake appropriate measures to ensure all service and maintenance records are maintained
• Undertake scheduled servicing and refueling tasks of the Southern Cross Industrial Group ancillary equipment
• Identify and rectifying faults during inspections
• Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and to the highest standard
• Be customer focused with the intent to ensure customer satisfaction, adhering to all rules and regulations on their sites
• Work with departmental and interdepartmental staff in a pleasant and constructive manner

Skills & Qualifications

• Well developed and respectful communication skills
• Prior experience in a similar role with trade skills and qualification
• Good organisational and communication skills
• A high commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team and unsupervised when required
