Fork Lift Driver - Ten Farms Pty Ltd

Ten Farms Pty Ltd is a produce company with deep roots in the Australian fresh produce industry. The company has evolved from a focus on bananas to marketing over 50,000 tonnes of fresh fruit annually across various categories.

Operating across three states, Ten Farms emphasizes efficient and transparent trade, supplying major Australian supermarkets such as Woolworths and Aldi. The company also exports fresh Australian produce, including over 500 product lines, to international markets like the USA, Canada, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The business is seeking a full-time qualified Forklift Driver to join our team in Epping, Mildura, or Euston.

The salary offered is $73,150 per annum plus superannuation.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

• Operating tractors, fronted loader and forklift for planting, trimming, slashing, maintaining trellis and harvesting as well as spraying fertilisers
• Operating equipment with a high level of proficiency and competency
• Adhering to operation and maintenance procedures as well as inspecting the equipment operation to identify any mechanical issues
• Undertaking minor repairs and cleaning of the machine where required
• Adhering to site policies and standard operating procedures
• Ensuring to complete all documents including quality reports, safe inspection checklists, quality reports and timesheets.

The applicants will have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ operating all types of forklifts/tractors and other equipment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Flexibility with working hours
• Sound knowledge of machine and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication skills with all staff members
• Good team member and leadership skills
• Class C (unrestricted) drivers licence (preferred)
• Forklift licence
• Chemical certificate (preferred)
• Previous vineyard, farming or horticulture experience is highly desirable.
