General Nursery Maintenance & local delivery driver.

Reports to: Nursery manager.

Working Hours, full time position. 9am – 5pm Mon – Fri. Occasional Saturday and or Sunday work required during our annual onsite events.

Short position description:

Varied role including local nursery stock deliveries to the greater Melbourne area daily. General production nursery site maintenance; various tasks for example; tractor/front end loader operation, maintain site roofline guttering & regular drainage blockages, PVC irrigation pipe repair, forklift operation, basic nursery vehicle maintenance, growing area greenhouse maintenance & basic repairs when required.

This is a 100% ‘hands on position’. Reporting directly to business owners, you will be responsible for completing routine nursery work detailed by senior management. You will bring strong self tasking & motivation skills to the role. Proven time management ability, professional conduct and daily reliability is required. Physical fitness is important, this is a year round outdoor working environment with a busy workflow. Non smoking work environment.

Salary & Remuneration will reflect Australian industry standards and applicant prior experience.

Current manual HR drivers license required
