About the role:

The primary purpose of the Hose Technician is to deliver accurate and high technical quality service work to our valued customers throughout Mackay. This position is a Monday to Friday role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing technical service and troubleshooting support for customers
• Repair and replace hydraulic hoses at customer sites
• Build lasting relationships with new and existing customers
• Attend to customer queries regarding hydraulic hose related matters
• Manufacture hose assemblies as required
• Maintain van inventory/stock and equipment
• Ensure a professional image is maintained at all times

The ideal candidate:

• Australian Drivers License
• Mechanical aptitude
• Broad exposure to service/repair of hydraulic and pneumatic Industrial/Mobile equipment would be ideal
• The ability and willingness to undertake on call work if you are mobile
• Able to trouble shoot (or learn to trouble shoot) hydraulic and related hydraulic systems problems effectively
• Effective communicator with the confidence to deal with clients and build trusted relationships
• Strong knowledge of, and experience in, hydraulic hose and fittings
• Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
