Mobile Plant Operator

Gill Farms Mildura are seeking a Mobile Plant Operator for our horticulture company in the Iraak/ Nangiloc area.

Duties to include:

• Foliar Spraying
• Herbicide Spraying
• Discing
• Skirting
• Slashing
• Keeping log tallies and writing work reports
• Servicing plant and performing minor repairs
• Preparing and positioning plant for operation
• Operating tractor-drawn and self-propelled plant.

Successful applicants must:

Have a good understanding of machinery operation and maintenance.

Past experience as a farm hand required.

Current chemical user certificate preferred, or willingness to become certified.

Have a current driver’s license & vehicle.

Have a sound knowledge of OH&S policies to maintain a safe workplace.

Be able to work in a team environment.

Ability to take directions and follow procedures.

Must be currently living in Australia to be considered.

Local to the Sunraysia area preferred.

Immediate start. Several positions available.

The role is a full-time salaried position ranging from $75,000-$80,000.
