Nursery Hand

Horticulture Position available: Romantic Nursery 125 Quayle rd, Wandin – Yarra Valley VIC ;

We are wholesale growers of Herbs, Exotic perennials, cool climate ferns & Succulents for supply to retail nurseries, landscape professionals & project managers AUS wide.

Work Hours: Mon to Thur plus Friday during peak season. This role will suit those with a passion for plants and horticulture who also love to learn at work.

We are a passionate plants team who grow a very large range and hold generations of growing knowledge in-house. Self-motivation qualities & time management skills are required. Physical fitness is required; this is an outdoor working environment with a busy work flow. Prior horticultural work experience and strong references within a high-volume production nursery is preferred but not necessary.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Daily hands on wholesale order preparation for timely despatch.

- Assist with stock movement, irrigation & quality control within the growing areas.

- Daily general nursery maintenance tasks to keep a clean & efficient workplace.

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
