The Role
In this position you will mentor, coach and support our Centre Educational Leaders across south east Queensland between approximately North Brisbane and up to Glasshouse Mountains. Our Head Office is in Shailer Park so you will be required to attend meetings there on a regular basis. With your ability to inspire, motivate and incite passion for our sector, you will aim to deliver the highest possible care and education training and mentoring to our teams for our families.
Your position details and responsibilities includes but is not limited to:

  • Conduct regular scheduled visits to centres to ensure adherence to company policies, practices, and processes, with a strong focus on continuous improvement
  • Observe and assess staff interactions during visits to ensure alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and sector best practices
  • Coach, mentor, and lead Educational Leaders in the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs and practices
  • Review and evaluate current educational programs and documentation to ensure relevance, quality, and compliance
  • Organise and facilitate monthly Educational Leader Networking Meetings to promote collaboration and shared professional learning
  • Design, write, and deliver targeted training sessions based on identified service needs
  • Provide hands-on support during the Assessment and Rating process to ensure centres are well-prepared and confident

Qualifications:

  • Sound understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS) and assessment and rating processes
  • Proven hands-on experience in achieving an Exceeding rating in an early childhood service
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a minimum of 3 years in an Educational Leader, Centre Director, or equivalent role
  • Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care (completed)
  • Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • A genuine passion for promoting children’s health, wellbeing, and nutrition
  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic, a sense of humour, and a growth mindset
