PA to General Manager - Full Time - Nagambie, Victoria based position

Yulong Investments, one of Australia’s most dynamic and fast-growing thoroughbred operations is seeking a driven, highly organised, and bilingual PA to the General Manager in a Full-time role to support the executive team. Located near Nagambie in Victoria, this will be an on farm-based role with shared accommodation provided. You’ll play a key role behind the scenes of Australia’s top racing and breeding operations, helping coordinate complex logistics and infrastructure, support high-level decision-making within various departments and keep critical projects moving. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a passionate, tight-knit team, where no two days are the same.
Duties and responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- ·Working closely with the General Manager and senior leadership to coordinate schedules, meetings, and business priorities.
- Providing high-level administrative and farm support across various departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the business.
- Support planning, coordination and delivery of farm infrastructure, irrigation, and other various construction and landscape projects.
- Monitor project timelines, manage budgets, and maintain accurate reporting and documentation.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Maintaining excellent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for both English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
- Attending selected race events and farm locations as needed including logistical aspects - travel flexibility required.
- Helping bring projects from concept to completion with precision and professionalism.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
Skills and Attributes:
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, written and verbal is essential.
- Minimum 2 years of undergraduate university study (preferably in Project Management, Construction, Business, Agricultural or other related disciplines)
- Assistant operations or project coordination experience desirable.
- Knowledge of the thoroughbred or racing industry is a bonus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Budget tracking and administration experience.
- Strong time management, confident with communication and reliable.
- Willingness to travel and work some weekends and overtime, when required.
