Australia’s largest horse riding and wilderness adventure centre.
GVWA is a multi-award winning, adventure tourism business specialising in horse riding, kayaking, quad biking, abseiling, laser
skirmish and corporate team building activities. We also offer camping and cabin accommodation, a variety of events in our
Valley Event Centre and horse agistment services on our 3000 acre wilderness property. We have been in business for more
than 50 years and employ a team of 40 full time staff and approximately 80 part time and casual staff.

Purpose of the Role
Use a wide range of plant / farm machinery in a safe, productive and professional manner. Carry out a wide range of earth
moving projects, land management tasks and general farm related activities to repair, maintain, install and improve our 3000
acre property and facilities. Example of some machines include, Backhoe, excavators, tipper trucks, tractors, Posi steers, motor
graders etc.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an energetic, hands on and capable Plant / Farm Machinery Operator who is good at what they do, takes
pride in what they achieve, has good attention to detail, looks after the machinery they operate and who enjoys a large amount
of variety in the type of work they do.
All applicants must be over 18 years of age, non smoking and capable of strenuous physical labour when required, as well as
enjoy working outdoors in a rural/natural type setting. Applicants will initially be assessed using the answers provided in the GV
application form and against the list of key result areas in the position description.
Remuneration
The standard hours of employment are from 7am to 5pm Mon – Fri, with 30 minutes for lunch and 15 minutes for morning tea.
This position is offered at an hourly rate of $39 per hour. Based on actual hours worked this equates to an approximate salary of
$92,333 per annum or $102,489.08 per annum including superannuation. All rates are before tax. This is a full time, permanent
position with paid holiday leave and personal leave etc. Your ordinary hourly rate incorporates and offsets all entitlements
including overtime, penalties (including Sunday and Public Holiday penalties), allowances, and annual leave loading as contained
within the Award.
