• Due to the variety and volumes of our products, candidates should be aware that working with certain food products, e.g. meats, dairy or gluten-based items is a requirement of this role
• Payrate listed is for an adult 21+ years old and will be less for younger applicants

From our Head Office location in Ferntree Gully, our in-house bakery supplies our 70 lunch vans across Melbourne and surrounds with fresh and delicious pies, sausage rolls, cakes and slices on a daily basis.

• Up to $32 per hour casual adult rate (21+)
• 3-5 shifts per week, 12 to 40 hours per week
• Shift length 4-8 hours
• Monday to Friday shifts rostered from 11.00am – 6.00pm
• Occasional Sunday shifts may be offered,Sunday availability highly regarded

Role tasks and opportunities

• Making/baking pies, pasties, sweets
• Preparation and weighing of ingredients
• Mixing, making and sheeting pastry – sheeting experience required
• Oven work and baking
• Practicing cleanliness and hygiene at all times in line with HACCP requirements
• Some computer based work
