The Role

  • Based in Perth or Adelaide
  • Full time permanent position

The purpose of this role is to ensure that all company Food Safety and Quality policies, procedures and programs are meeting and exceeding industry standards and relevant rules and regulations in the region.

To manage the Quality Management system implementation and continuous improvement across sites for the region.

What You’ll Do:

  • Promote a strong food safety culture
  • Run internal audits and help fix any issues found
  • Spot and report food safety risks
  • Support external audits (certification, government, customer)
  • Train staff on food safety practices
  • Lead team meetings and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Investigate customer complaints and quality issues
  • Improve quality processes and support other QA team members
  • Take part in projects and follow health and safety rules

What You’ll Need:

  • A degree in Food Science or similar
  • Internal Auditor certification (Lead Auditor is a bonus)
  • Experience in compliance and quality checks
  • Ability to work independently and with great attention to detail
  • A positive attitude, teamwork skills, and flexibility
