The Role
THE ROLE
Senior Project Manager (2 x positions available)
A rewarding and challenging opportunity exists for 2 Senior Project Managers to join the Community Housing Partnerships Unit of the Housing Outcomes and Partnerships Branch of Homes Victoria.
These roles play an important part delivering on the more than $6.3 billion invested through the Big Housing Build and Regional Housing Fund, to achieve Government’s agenda of substantially increasing social and affordable housing in Victoria.
Senior Project Managers in the Delivery team are responsible for the contract management and oversight of projects funded by the Social Housing Growth Fund, the primary mechanism by which Homes Victoria is delivering social and affordable homes in partnership with the not-for-profit community housing sector. Senior Project Managers work with funded community housing organisations to deliver quality new social housing projects on time and within budget, in line with their contractual commitments to government.
These roles require dynamic and flexible candidates, skilled in project and contract management, government procurement frameworks and commercial transactions and who can manage relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Contribute to the successful delivery and completion of procurement rounds and projects by community housing organisations consistent with contractual commitments through key activities which include:
- Contract administration, including certification of milestones, management of milestone payments or availability contributions and execution of ancillary agreements and security.
- Regular attendance at project delivery sites and attendance at project control group meetings in order to better monitor and report on project progress.
