Trackwork Rider

Ciaron Maher Racing is seeking an experienced fast work/gallop rider to join our Warwick Farm team.

Warwick Farm is a metro location located an 45 minutes from Sydney CBD.

The successful applicants will:

• Be able to ride 8 – 10 horses per morning, with a particular emphasis on riding pace/timed work.
• Have proven ability to train and educate a variety of horses, including those that are young & inexperienced, colts, and seasoned racehorses in barrier education, jumpouts, and timed fast work.
• Be able to take instructions from various people and demonstrate a high level of communication.
• Must be able to work in a team and independently effectively and efficiently.

There will be opportunities to attend race days.

Previous experience within a thoroughbred racing stable is a must.

We are offering very competitive remuneration.

Shared staff accommodation may be available.
