Warehouse Assistant/ MR Driving

In this varied and exciting opportunity to join Tasty Fresh Food Co. in Wetherill Parkyou will be a vital member of our warehouse and freight crew responsible for cleaning and stocking our famous lunch vans ready for their time out on the roads the following morning. You will receive full training and support.

Having an MR or HR licence and truck driving experience enables you to support our current driver (Occasional during times of leave etc.) who does a nightly run to our production depot in Newcastle to collect the stock for our 26 lunch vans that service our customers at their workplaces in the Western suburbs of Sydney.

• Shift length 4-8 hours
• 2-3 shifts per week
• 10-15 hoursper week
• Sunday to Friday roster
• Warehouse shift 1:00pm – 5.00pm
• Driving shift 5.00pm - 1.00am
• Flexibility to take on more is highly regarded

Please note -

• Due to the variety and volumes of our products, candidates should be aware that working with certain food products, e.g. meats, dairy or gluten-based items is a requirement of this role
• Payrate listed is for an adult 21+ years old and will be less for younger applicants

Role tasks and opportunities

• Assisting with general warehouse duties
• MR or HR licence requiredforproviding occasional back up to our full-time truck driver driving the nightly run from Wetherill Park to Newcastle return trip to support during leave etc. which would be 5pm - 1am,occasional requirement
• Forklift operations – if licenced, which is highly regarded
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• General cleaning and tidying of warehouse floor
• Practicing cleanliness and safety at all times
• Other ad hoc tasks as required to keep it interesting!

You have a current Australian NSW MR or HR drivers licence and experience driving an MR truck

• Current forklift licence highly regarded
• Reliablecar and licence to get to and from the depot
• Australian work rights are needed
