Mechanic

Ulandra has 4 positions available as a Motor Mechanic and/or Diesel Fitter in our Lakeland properties.

We are a banana, avocado and mushrooms grower located in Lakeland, Far North Queensland, running a busy workshop and 3 packing houses.

We are looking for reliable and loyal staff to be part of our team.

Qualifications & Skills

· Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or similar areas

· Minimum 2 years of work experience

· Good communication skills

· Work well in a team

· Must hold an Australian Licence (manual, minimum HR)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

You must have completed a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (MEM30205) specialising in diesel fitting, or similar area.

Your duties will be, but not limited to:

· Inspect, repair and service diesel engines.

· Inspect and repair a wide range of vehicles and machinery, including cars, buses, trucks, small engines and farm equipment.

· You may perform a wide range of tasks, from routine maintenance to full engine overhauls or rebuilds.

· Maintain workshop facility clean and tidy.

· Put away, maintain and organise the spare parts area.

· Schedule and organise service for all farm fleet.

· Complete and maintain service report records.

The position is available for immediate start.

Full-time position.

Range Salary $66,000 - $90,000 per year (salary is negotiable).
